Spend two days touring the southwest's natural wonders visiting the latest ECO Tourism attractions - 2 DAY SOUTHWEST DISCOVERY.

WINTER TOUR June to November.

DAY 1 (L,D).

We leave Perth in the morning and head south along the Old Coast Road via the historic Cities of Mandurah and Bunbury. Travelling east from Bunbury we enter the fruit growing regions notably the delightful Town of Donnybrook. Local producers provide a market type environment along the main highway where the freshest and most delicious fruit can be bought and sampled.

After leaving Donnybrook we take the winding road to the Town of Manjimup gateway to the vast forests of South West WA.. Test your nerve and climb the giant Diamond Tree Lookout used in times gone by to spot forest fires that could threaten the Town and its inhabitants. It's the tallest wooden lookout in the world! Here a delicious picnic lunch is provided at a charming spot within the never-ending Karri Tree forest.

Its then onto the famous Tree Top Walk via snaking roads through the virgin Karri Forest where uninterrupted views are provided from the safe and easily accessible elevated walking platforms. The tour then heads to Pemberton (and visit the local bottle shop!) before an evening meal and campfire setting. (HA)

Southern Oceans meet. Have your An early start allows us to head for the Augusta Margaret River region where the mighty Indian and cameras ready as this is Whale Watching Country'! Massive Humpback Whales heading north from their traditional feeding grounds in Antarctica migrate to Flinders Bay near the Town of Augusta to find a mate before continuing their northward journey.

The tour changes here with guests boarding the purpose built 50 seater Catamaran 'Whale Watcher' operated by a local company, Naturalist Charters. The vessel provides spectacular close up views of these awe inspiring mammals in a safe and comfortable environment. The vessels skipper through his local knowledge rarely fails to see the whales and guests are almost guaranteed an uninterrupted view of these wonderful ocean creatures. Take extra film to prove to friends and family just how close you got!
